What was the reason for boycotting the turbo build (after buying and mounting the Holley turbo manifolds & crossover)and going LSA?

Well, when it came time to actually look at packaging and fabrication there was so much more work to be done than I initially had anticipated. I started looking into the LSA and it just started to make more and more sense. I could install it all myself, packaging was easy, plenty of power. Having made the change and driven her a bit I'm very happy with the result, so for me, I think it was the right decision.

Sounds like things are working well. How much did Circle D want to re-stall your converter after engine combo changes?

Since the converter is their 258mm 1B, to drop the stall 300-400 rpm the stator would need to be replaced and that would run $350+ return shipping. Lead time would be about 2 weeks, per Brian Burns at Circle D.
