Just saw your video on youtube i know its kinda old but im currently doing an ls 5.3 swap to my 01 mustang it was a v6 so i had to buy a gt diff im kinda on a short budget too but i already have like 70% done, im using a 4l60E tranny for now, i bought a stock harness and just missing some basic stuff but my questions are what kind of headers were you running ? Did you modify a lot the harness? Other than the basic stuff what did you have to buy ? Like the steering ? Do i have to make a custom drive shaft or is there any way if using the stock one? You would help me a lot if you could answer this questions

will work fine if you use the Dynatechs, it goes between #3 and #5 primary tubes.

Yes, 98-02 Fbody, Hummer H3 is what I am using and it appears to be the same as the "muscle car" pan offered by GM, all of these will work with aftermarket K-member, not stock K-member.

Pretty sure people have used the stock Mustang K-member and used the f-body oil pan.

i was thinking on buying an after market k member latet on but for now i since im on a short budget im trying to make it driveable first with my stock k member i think im buying the 98-02 camaro oil pan and i guess i still have to look for some headers that would fit perfect, i was thinking on going long tubes but i gotta find some that would fit with my stock k member
