Oh and all the covers are powder coated. I get a hookup on coating through the shop i work at so it wasnt that much more to just coat rather then paint.

i read up on the project and was glad to see someone step up and ask for a real vehicle so we didnt get the typical 4x4 header hits the shackle bolts problem .
Thanks ill check those out also. I'd like to do headers as my heads are getting extensively ported and a cam will happen soon. Oh and I am almost done smoothing my intake. Been thinking about going with the edlebrock truck intake

Looks good so far, sucks you had to put the short block in before putting the heads on, but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. Good luck with the build.
