I did most of mine with an 80 grit sanding pad folded in half and did it by hand...I feel stupid now lol , but not using the intake so it's all good.Had originally planned to do what you're doing. Wiring looks nice and tucked too!

Thanks! There are a few things I wish I would have done different on the harness, but this one should work. I should have flipped the injectors around, run the tb and maf wires through the valley.

Almost done with the wiring harness. Just need to add a couple wires then wire up a fuse box with relays and its ready. I still have a couple wires I am not sure where they go. I cannot locate them on any of the wiring diagrams. Also I plan to add a couple adle clamps on the back of each head to hold the wiring harness in place so it cannot move around. Getting much closer, hoping to get the heads back by next weekend then it should go together really quick!

Did a little work to the intake, finished smoothing the top. I plan to add a couple coats of filler primer, hit it with a quick sanding by hand to help smooth some of the bumps out and throw some black on it.

Also worked on the heads and got the porting all finished up. Plan to assemble them tomorrow and get them installed! Hoping to fire it up first of next week!

Been getting some progress done this morning. Fighting the cold wind its getting closer. hoping to fire it either tonite or tomorrow. Then either tuesday or wednesday it will be going to the muffler shop to get the exhaust hooked back up and tucked away.

crazy question but where are you going to run your wires into the cab? Was really trying to avoid having to drill another hole in my firewall...but it seems inevitable.

I plan to enlarge the hole where the cable originally cam through and reuse the grommet to seal it. I will have to extend the wires from the pedal to the tac module though.

Well i finally fired it up tonite!! Diddent get to run it long, open manifolds and 9 pm isnt a good mix with my neighbors. But all in all everything seems fine thus far. Plan to run it more tomorrow after work and maybe try and get it to a muffler shop on saturday and get that fixed up. Getting closer to done!!

Yup cycled the key a couple times to prime the fuel and it busted right off! Gonna run it some more tomorrow and get some of the tuning dialed in a little better. hoping to take it on a drive tomorrow evening. Still need to swap the motor adapter plates..

Got some more things taken care of tonite. Started it and ran a heat cycle. Need to change my evac a little. Pretty much from here just need to get the tune straightened out, swap my adapter plates so the trans sits in the crossmember correctly, double check all fluids, and finish up a couple wiring items to make the rest of the factory gauges work and its ready to hit the muffler shop. Hoping I can get everything done Sunday so I can take it Monday to the muffler shop and get that taken care of. We will see.. On to the pics.

Here is what I did with my dbw pedal. It's perfectly in the stock location, but since the throw is a little different this is what I ended up with.

Here is where I used the factory hole and enlarged it to accept the grommet for the pedal wires.

And here is the wiring 95% done. Need to order a computer bracket. There are a few things I plan to change in the future to clean them up a little better but this is functional.

Oh and the original holes that mounted the gas pedal worked perfect to mount the dbw pedal. Just drilled a couple holes in the new pedal and done.

Looking good! What exhaust manifolds did you end up using?

2010 Camaro manifolds. They fit with tons of room to spare.
