Tray is the same...No joke the Pick Up Tube looks like one from a Truck..don't hold me to it cause I never placed them side-by-side, but they look really close.

I'm not running a Windage Tray in my 408, it wouldn't clear the Rod Bolts..even after shimming.

What's the full specs on your setup if you don't mind sharing?

Carb'd Vic JR Intake?

Yeah thats what I'm thinking about doing. I ran my alternator on my camaro hard mounted to the block with no adjustment or tensioner for years and never had an issue. Thinking about making a bracket on the passenger side and doing the same. No need for a tensioner.

I was hoping it was the same as the ls1 fbody pick up so I wouldn't have to **** with swapping it out lol. Oh well. No biggie. Thats wierd that your tray wouldn't clear. I have had a few 408s and never had that problem.

The motor is an iron 408 with diamond flat tops and eagle forged crank/rods. Factory LS3 heads unported, PRC .675 springs, tsp giant cam, vic jr intake, 950 holley hp carb, 1-7/8 headers, electric water pump. PTC converter, RMVB TH400 trans, 3.73 gears, M/T Radials. Once we get everything worked out I'll put the nitrous kit on it. Its my friends car. I'll post pics once we get done with it.

Thanks for all of your help. I'm sure I will have another question or 10!!
