Thanks man.main reason I went hard line is from what I gather the softline over a few years needs to be replaced because it gets hard and brittle.i only spent $200 on everything.i found a seller on ebay that had all the professional products push lok stufffor a good price.the most expensive fittings were the ones for the rail to push on to stock 3/8 pipe

Figured I should update my thread, its been a little while and have been pretty busy with life over the past few months.anywho
cars almost ready to drive, maybe by the 24th it will be on the road.currently im in the process of painting the car.the red **** paint finally got to me.
I was originally going to just matte black it but decided just wasnt for me.so I went to lowes with the intention of rattle canning the car gloss white, while after about 8 cans I only had the front clip done.it looked good except for the hood which had abunch of flat spots in it.so I came up with a plan of attack remembering about reading the $50 paint job.so I bought everything needed and got cracking.so far I have about 4 coats of gloss white rustolem on the car mixed with a little bit of spirits to thing the paint .im actually realy shocked how well the stuff works.ive been applying it with a high density foam roller.soon as I get the car completely painted and driveline in it I am going to wet sand the car starting with 500 grit then work up to 1500 grit so I can get all the orange peel out then its time for a good polishing.here is a few pics of where its at

heres the end goal and def possible. Car is painted with rustolem as well

Solid porno red interior is gross, the mixed is good, and different. Everyone ditches it. I've had 5-6 with it, and like it. Most have been grey though.

Hope that wasn't a Wild Strawberry car, that is such a gorgeous color and getting hard to find. Closely behind Calypso Green. *drool*. Regret selling my Calypso LX....

Man I hear you, I just finished up my turbo lq4 swap in my notch, and now am fighting all kinds of bugs with it, almost there though.

On another topic, I read somewhere that you did the f body cluster swap into your fox correct? If so all my searches for this only yield information on the fuel level sending unit differences, what I would like to know and hopefully you can answer this is how are the rest of the gauges hooked up? Oil pressure, volts, speedo, temp, tach? Can I just get all these signals from the PCM? Whats the wiring deal on how all those get hooked up?

I bought the psi pigtail for the cluster and wired it to the pcm.iirc 99+ use class 2 data strem from the pcm.98 uses individual wires.everything minus my speedo and coolant temp but thats because my coolant temp sensor is broken and im using a pulse gen.but ill be swapping to the fti vss kit soon.the fuel gauge stuff ended up being sort of simple

Cars mostly tuned now and running pretty good now.rips pretty good on 14 psi, cant wait to get it to the track but gotta fix something first. Found out the hard way about gm p/s pumps and ford p/s racks.seals blw out on the rack due to the pressures the ford rack is designed for . apparently ford racks are designed to operate around 800psi and gm pumps put out around 1200psi.i ordered the borgenson pressure relif kit and stuff to make a new high pressure line to fix the leaks.

I drive a big rig for a living and love to hear that turbo start pushing the boost.

Some year I will get enough of a pair to build a turbo motor for something like my S-10, but for now I will be satisfied with just getting it up and running finally.

While I figure id update the thread.ive decided to keep the car for now because ive always gotten rid of a car before completing it.i originally set out to make a beater that was fast which is cool but I just got annoyed with the red interior, th400, and the white color.so after much debate the cars path is going to be changed.first on the list is a interior color change to black which im half way thru using interior dye.so far everything is turning out great.next on the list will to be to go to either a t56, tko600 or maybe even a t5.with the transmission may or may not come the switch to na.right now im thinking a cam only ls6 in a fox should keep me happy and makr it more of a driver.after that it will be time to spend more money on wheels suspension then body work and a black paint job.

heres how the dash turned out so far

and heres basicly the end goal but little different wheels that are completely satin black and not as low.
