No luck fishing it out so i pulled the motor and removed pan then cleaned it up sprayed dye and dye extractor found 6 leaks total so my NEW tig welding guy has it now he sure got a kick out of the other guys work he has 4 leaks fixed but 2 are giving him trouble he said Prolly get back tomorrow

Before loosing anything else in there, try a blob of grease on a coathanger or the like....grease if lost in oilpan won't hurt a thing.

I would pull the pan and do it right.

This is why TIG welders that mess with aluminum get paid.

also would it hurt to apply yamabond sealant on inside of repaired areas? I think it would be cheap insurance and piece of mind what you all think
