The shifter is actually at a very comfortable height. It's a ratcheting shifter, so once it's in "ratchet mode" it's tilted back and a couple inches lower. The factory shifter would not work with the swap. It was one of those autosticks that you shift through the gears by bumping it left and right once it is in Drive.

It would require custom manifolds. I am planning on running a turbo or two on it in the future too.
