Read through the entire thread...Hope there's an update soon. I know sometimes life gets in the way and stops these projects dead in their tracks.

Flowmaster exhaust, K&N filter, 285 hp, 302 tq to the wheels with 3.42 gear and it gets 25 mpg blazing down the freeway doing 80 with windows down and stereo blasting. Its a blast to drive. Good luck
PM Sent; I had some questions on what kind of fabrication you did to get the steering column and wiper motors to work. I'm doing a swap out of a 2000 Camaro and I'm basically doing the same thing!

I dont think I got a PM, but i would like to see your 69 chevelle build or progress if you have it somewhere. PM me and ill send you my number if you want. But yea the engine is waiting in my garage here in san francisco, and the paint job is basically paid but been lagging now. 2 years its been in santa barbara being worked on, family friend had some shop staff struggles but should be getting back on it now. thanks for reading, hope it told a good story and was enjoyable.

Sorry, I had sent a PM to hoboy in regards to what he had done on his friends Chevelle. However, If you've done the steering column/wipers as well it'd definitely help me out as I'd like to use the tilt column as well as the delay on the wipers.
I don't have a build thread up yet. I bought the Chevelle in February and traded my bike for a 2000 Camaro Z28 that I'm essentially gutting completely. Sold the original 307/trans in my Chevelle to a guy in Rockwall, TX who also happened to have done a few LS1 swaps as well, so made a good contact.
This thread has definitely let me know what I'm getting myself into, however my plans are more of a daily driver build, at least for now. Right now I'm in the part collecting stages, however at the end of this month I'll be pulling the LS1 out of the Camaro and doing some test fitting in the Chevelle. Once we get to that point I'll be sure to start a thread.

Oh sorry I was confused but I have not done my steering column and wipers yet. Still undecided on the route with the wiper motor as well

sorry for the lack of updates...but I had issues with my body shop and had to pull the car back. He was BSing me, never meeting deadlines and hadnt made progress in a year and put the car outside. I was pissed, threatened to take him to the bar for all my money and the wear on all the stuff that was new and was able to get most of my money back outside of court. so now the car is in Modesto with my girlfriends dad to be painted. hopefully this will workout. I am still here in San Francisco so at least its much closer to me.

So besides moving the car, I have changed direction. Sold the stock 4l60e as it was no good. Bought a new rebuilt one and stall and flexplate etc but am selling that in the Classified currently.

JUST PICKED UP A T56 and am pretty stoked I was able to change my mind got a solid deal from a cool dude in San Jose.

Also bought some Doug's D3336 Headers from Amazon.

Hello all, I know its been a long time since an update. Ive been pretty busy, wish I could say it was on the 69 Chevelle, still fighting to have it painted so I can start putting it together. I have collected all the parts now to rebuild my rear end but that will come later.

This next update is the process to how I mounted my T56 to the LS1 with a pretty solid write up. Check this link for the thread, ill be updating the write up soon now that im done.
