As an (sadly)ex-owner of a Opel Omega (although mine was from '98), I wish you all the best and a lot of fun with your build! The older cars are cool as well, and very spacious!
As far as I know, the platform was originally designed in Germany by Opel for the Rekord, and then was used by Vauxhall/Holden.
The successor car, the Opel/Vauxhall Omega received a all-new platform and design in 1994, which was later used, although with some upgrades, for the GTO

got some LS9 head gaskets
then stuck the heads on
plopped the inlet on but.....
inlet orifice hits front plate so will need to slice it underneath the manifold but this
is touching oh so inappropriately the mid plate
DO they unscrew? Mine seems a bit tight and I'm not too keen on smashing a hole in the inlet
can I get a blanking plug and take the map feed from somewhere else or modify this to take a 90 deg fitting?
talk to me LS1tech-ers
