Default mustang headers

Mustang swappers need to check out the 45840 heddman swap headers for the foxbody. they are easy to install and have plenty of clearance. easy bolt up and spark plug access. they are half the price of the kooks and dynatecs.

Any pictures of them mounted? Around the important areas possibly?

booboo37...just googled them. They are a mid-length exiting near the bellhousing

So the steering shaft goes on the outside of the tubes and not through them like Kooks ?

Also is easy to get to all the plugs ??

I have been wondering the same but it looks like the shaft will pass between the tubes.

OP...did you install your steering shaft yet? Thank you for the pics

Some mustang swappers like myself don't really want headers with ball socket/flange connections. No Thanks, full length Dynatechs make more sense and offer 1 7/8's primaries.

Yes OP have you put the steering shaft on? And not to thread jack does anyone know how much horsepower you would gain or lose over full length to mid-length?

It's not too hard to chop the end off and weld on a V-band at that point. It's nice to have other options and these would offer more room around the bell housing for the rest of the exhaust.

steering shaft goes thru the headers. i did but not in this picture. i like all the extra room. easy to get to starter and trans. it also looks like the motor can be pulled with headers still attached.

Dynatechs definitely work with the Team-Z. You sure you have the motor mounts on right? Whats not working?

nothing u buy will ever fit one hundred percent. remember we are putting **** together that was not meant to b. And even if it was theres always fab work to do building street or strip cars. The kooks make the most power hands down u just need to weld a couple angles together to clear the crossmemeber. i have 3 in exhaust and we wrapped it right around it. any good exhaust guy can do it. my little ls2 with ls3 heads makes big horse with theses headers

Well thats a given. I was just curious to see how it looks around the steering shaft.
