We diverted our attention for a brief moment and created a V4 crank.
Attachment 405083
We sent it off to one of our friends (who makes patterns) to take it and make a pattern of it.

Can we get back to the V12 build please...and while you're at it, figure out a way to take 2 (or 3) of those Eaton MP90 superchargers (the ones that were found on Buick 3800s in Regal GS and Pontiac GTP cars that people sell on Craig's List for $150.00) and cut them apart, join the rotors and cases so you can have a 180 (or 240) ci blower on your LS V12.

There is actually room on the Z cars to have the Tbody and intake go out behind the motor. There is a large area behind the engine bay that is dedicated to the windshield motor and a bunch of dead space that I am sure an interprising person could put to use. I am actually considering reversing the intake on my LS1 Z to use that space myself.

Agreed, but u do realize they are already planning to put the v12 in 2400lb 240z car. I would shoot for the v4 in something more like 1200 lbs, maybe an old school mini cooper?

ok, I am officially subscribing to this thread..
I say throw a pair of 38 or 40 mm turbos to the v-4 and crank out more ponies than a stock 5.3... the spool time would be non-existent!!
Not to mention just how bad that would screw with people's heads when you raise the hood and this dinky lawn mower looking thing is sitting there.

I think something setup like this, but for the V4, would be the way to go.
