Default 78 c10 conversion

Alrighty guys. my goals in the first place were to put a 406 small block in, but funds cut my dry. so i talked to my fellow truck owners on another site... they persuaded me my money would be well spent on an ls1 swap so here i am. BEST 250 dollars spent. after that, my friend/brother inlaw wanted to do a L98 swap into his 77 nova. After he figured out the trans in the van was a 4L80E he offered it to me. which works out cause, i found out that the TH350 i had was 30 inchs long, with a 9 inch tail shaft. 4l80e is 31 inchs... so i got the special flywheel and everything for the 4l80e and bolted it up to the engine since you need the spacer and the 6 bolt patern to bolt up the converter. so i pulled my yoke out, found out it was a 1350 yoke vs my 1310 driveshaft. i took care of this with a moog/strange u joint... i hope im not boring you guys... Now to the part where i put the engine and trans in.. nice and tight like a glove. had to do a few mods before having to set the engine in right, like motor mounts and some frame mods.

I have bought me a camaro wiring harness, and i looked through all the info on here and found out that RED and BLUE delphi computers came out of camaros. i have the serv No. 12200411. HDW No.09386530 *86DFNN9102236G87* and it was said to come out of a 01 silverado with a 6.0 and a 4l80e.. so im curious. did i get false advertisement? whats this for really???

Dont wanna have to though!

so ive gathered that this is also build threads, so im gonna show off some of my progress. i didnt get pictures of the engine mounts...
Right now ive caught a snag on the trans crossmember and would like to swap a new crossmember in.. the 4L80Es mounting position is pushed further back. gonna look through summit for a good deal on a crossmember to fix this, but if anyone has any suggestions to a straight bolt in tubular design let me know please..
Thank you
