A few months ago, we swapped an LY6 with 6l90 transmission in to a 1999 Dakota RT.

With the intention of putting a turbo, and needing space for the intercooler, we decided to try to remote mount the AC condenser.
We contacted Classic Auto Air in Tampa, and purchased a 16X18 parallel flow condenser. This decreased the size significantly when compared to the old tube and fin design.

and made room up front
.
The location we chose was under the bed, just forward of the passenger side rear wheel.

The condenser was modified by Mark at Classic Auto Air, locating the connections in a convenient spot.

and the condenser is mounted.

A Derale 12 inch fan was located after modifying the shroud

And custom lines were fabricated by Classic Auto Air

Thanks to Mark, Ron and Curtis. AC blows 43 degrees on 90+ degree day.
