Awesome build man. I used to want an iroc and this is exactly what I would be doing if I ended up getting one. Keep the information coming and good luck on the build.

Man I really like your car a lot, brings back a lot of memories. First car was a dark blue RS. I think I need to acquire another one in the near future. Keep up the great work.

bout how much u got in that rotor/caliper setup?
tryin to decide on 5th gen calipers or afcos. wont b running anything bigger than 17s front and back. also if the ss calipers fit 17s. using a fm5 wheel so the bolts cause interference on calipers.
look like its coming along. what kind of hp u expect from that 5.3?

will i scored the calipers for 250 for both i see them on ebay for 300 for a pair of fronts, i just got replacement rotors from ss camaro there about 50-60 each the brackets where like 60 and i modded the spindle myself so 20-40 on the tools aka dies i needed so i have less then 550ish in my setup forgot to mention machined down 1le hub which is needed to run camaro ss rotors due to slight offset difference of rotor

for 17" you have to double check clearance with spokes and wheel barrel only wheels i know out of the box that would fit are CTW Motorsport wheels , it really depends on the barrel of the whell as some 18" wheels dont have big brake clearance due to wheel barrel design

also keep in mind that and thirdgen bigbrake setup will move your offset so again idk if your already have your fm5s already you should check clearance on that also standard big brake kits aka ls1 c5 c6 pushes out about .3" with standard machine hub dont qoute me im going of the top of my head ,Camaro ss with 1le hub pushs offset out about .6" again dont qoute me i have to double check but it gives a good idea

i have a 99 LS1 5.7L my goal is hopfully be close to 380ish would love to be over 400ish to the rear wheels
my part run down so far is
Mildly ported 243
Custom EPS Cam i think specs are 22X-23X @ .50 just got it yesterday
42lb inj
Stock Block Rebuilt with ARP Rod Bolts
LS6 Intake with Ported TB and MAF
Long tubes 3in ypipe 4 in cat back no cats
4l60e mildly built upgrade 3-4 clutch shift kit and other stuff etc
3600 stall converter
stock 10 bolt with zexel posi 3.42 gears

going to get mail order tune for now but will get full dyno to hopfully ill have some good numbers but more importantly the power curve and delevery

Great job!
If I tried to pull that off in the apartment complex I lived in when I was 19 they would have kicked me out!
