Ok so I guess it's about time I give you guys an update haha.

Tires came in 245/45R17's up front and 275/40R17's out back.

Top end gaskets.

Getting the heads installed with arp studs.

Cleaned up the valley cover.

Got the trunion bearings installed into the rocker arms.

I got the other rear wheel well opened up.

First wheel and the throttle body came in.

FAST 36# injectors

The steering rack is all painted and cleaned up.

The rest of the wheels came in.

And I finally got the car on the ground.

What's the width of the wheels? I'm running the same tire specs on my S14.

NIce....I have mine setup on 17x8.5 and 17x9.5....but then again I am setting it up on the S14 chassis. Nice build for sure and I love the attention to detail. Cant tell from the pics but Diamond Racing Wheels?

Thanks I like how they look too, I'm going for a sort of a stock car look.

And no they aren't diamond racing. Just some heavy rock crawler wheels from pro comp. they were only like $95 a piece shipped. I will be getting a second set of lightweight wheels later on.

Any updates to this? Do you have different fenders for the front or just a set of flares like the car in the pic?

This is a sick build... if yours looks anything like your target when you're done, I'll try my best to not try to follow in both your footsteps!

I too am using the same car as a reference for my build haha. I wont be ballin' with the flares though. Looks great so far! Any advice or big "issues" that you've come across so far?

Man amazing build and please take this with a grain of salt. The way you just brushed off your best friends death kind of made you look heartless. If it were me posting I would have probably left that out or at least left a space between the next sentence full of exclamation marks. But yeah man keep up the good work!

Well I didn't mean it to seem that way at all. I guess it can be kind of hard to interpret emotion via text. I guess i didnt feel like bugging other people with my sob story so I didnt write a lot about it on here. But yeah this guy was one of my best friends. I met him in college in our diesel mechanics class. And as I mentioned before he actually got me into the 240sx. I drove 8 hours the morning after my brothers wedding just to get to his funeral. He had just gotten engaged the week before he died and his son was born 3 weeks after he passed. I took it pretty hard and feel horrible for his fiancé and son. I alwasys used to chat to him about my build and I'd chat with him about his. He was building a 1UZ (4.0 aluminum Lexus v8) 240sx. Every time I get something done on the car I wanna call him and talk to him about it but I can't do that anymore. He will always have a place I'm my heart.
