Looking for a replacement connector pin..

I am hoping that you guys can help me.

I have a GTO that has a damaged terminal in the connector that plugs in to the throttle position controller and I have been looking high and low for a replacement with no luck.

here are the picture of the connector and the controller along with the part of the damaged pin that I could get out.

I think I have a few of the terminals I will have to look when I get home from work and let you know. If it helps they are Bosch standard terminals (I was a BMW tech for years) they used them on tons of european cars. If you have a BMW dealer close I would be willing to bet they have them in stock.

I may have one of those connectors laying around with a piece of wire on it after it was cut from a harness that we were rewiring. Ill take a look. That way you dont have to crimp it, you can just solder the wires together.

They crimp with the standard weather pack crimpers. I will let you know tonight.

This is true. However, when using a repair tool you are supposed to solder the crimp also per repair manual J-38125.

This goes for the metripack/weatherpack terminals also.

The bosch terminals can be a bear to find though. Unless you work at a BMW dealership.
