A friends dad had one ages ago but life changed and we never got to finish the car. Another friend uses one as a daily, inline six and all.

Cool car.

Little more progress. Just gotta smooth the upper access panel and then it'll be ready for mud and paint.

I like the way you removed some of the front body support(from firewall to frame.I didn't remove as much on my 50 Business Coupe and it might cause Header clearance issues so i might remove it like you did.

Thanks yes that's why I removed it to allow as much clearance for exhaust as I could.

I took out the access panel and put in a new piece that is thicker to support the brake booster and M/C I plan to install.

Bondo sanded and first coat of primer. Hopefully just one or two more block sanding and it'll be ready for paint. Name: F3FFF9B3-84B9-4A2F-BA6E-9207FEE6F463_zps28ri3g7j.jpg

Thanks Leadfoot.

I got the engine clean and have been shopping around this morning for gaskets so I can get hopefully get it installed later this week. I can't believe how much a pan gasket is for an LS.

I stopped in there this morning their Fel Pro was like $47. I've found a couple on ebay for $29 just need to do a little more reseach don't wanna have a leak later due to a crappy gasket.
