We were not able to make the deadline. But Im extremely happy how far we made it and it will be running this week.
It would have been running for it not been for 2 little crush washers in the slave cylinder. :X
We ended up having to pull the engine out starting around 4 sunday. That set us back and prevented us from being ready to start it.![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)

Always know what washers are for what, and dont forget them!

To elaborate on what Cody (skilled garage helper, comedian, and sleeper) posted. I had ordered the -3 AN stainless lines from Speedway. I knew the washers were in the box, but didn't see any point at which the bleeder line would need it. I should have looked more closely at the fittings as they were not all 37* flares.
I was pretty defeating to have that happen right when things were moving along. We burned a bunch of time trying to pull the trans, then more getting the now separate engine and transmission out of the car. Couldn't have done any of this without Cody.
Last night I was dead tired, my feet hurt, couldn't feel my fingertips, knuckles swolen, I put the car the rest of the way back together, before the clutch line fiasco. I hope to have the fuel system done this evening and start the damn thing tomorrow. I can only borrow the wife's car for a few days!
Thanks for all of the support and interest. I will get some good pics of the car when everything is finished and some videos.

Great job that far. Hell I have had mishaps to. Give a few examples.
New power steering reservoir came with o ring to connect between pump and reservoir threw the box away with o ring
New turbo came with cap over where air filter goes kept trying to start car it wouldnt fire then looked again and plastic cap was stuck in the impellar. Luckily no damage. Lol

3:00am just finished up in the garage. Fuel system is plumbed, walbro 255 installed, pulled all of the old engine wiring through the firewall and mounted the ecu. I can hopefully tackle the wiring tomorrow. Still trying to recover from only 15 hours of sleep since Thursday. Huge thanks to PSI conversions! Harness fits like it was made for the car. The remaining hookups should be simple enough. Wednesday I hope to be able to finish the exhaust and maybe fire the engine. If I can finish the swap in a week I will be happy.

Looks great man!! I have a blue 242 with an lm7 and t56 in it. I am guessing you may have run across my build thread.
Super fun car when you get it on the road, wish I would have done a wagon, but working on a 68 f100 short wide with a 6.0 lq4 and s480 single turbo on it now.
Ill keep an eye on this thread.
Good Luck getting it on the road this week.

Hackster, I used your thread as motivation for my build! I am on Turbobricks as well, same username.
Got a bunch done last night, finished the wiring for the fan, still need to wire the starter and alternator. Mounted the radiator, fit the hoses, intake is done. Called it early at 12:00. I am worn out and it is showing at work. I almost fell asleep on a phone call yesterday.
With last night's good sleep, tonight I am going to try and tackle everything left under the car and with what time I have left I can try and get the interior back together. Thinking about taking tomorrow off of work so I can have daylight to test drive and sort out any issues.
It is getting there, still amazed at how simple the swap has been thus far. The radiator and fan was a bit of a headache but that is because I wanted to use an OEM Volvo 2 speed fan and shroud along with the radiator. Otherwise things have just plain fit and fir nicely. I will say I have been planning and measuring and drawing things out in my head for months now.
Thanks again for all the kind words, hope I can have good news for everyone tonight or tomorrow.

More garage time last night. I pulled an all nighter and finished the exhaust, o2 sensors are in, battery in the car, along with a new cable to hook to both the alternator and the starter. Took care of a bunch of little items as well.
Tonight I am planning on getting it started and hopefully get a test drive in. If I can start it today, that would put me at 1 week. Not the three days I had planned on, but for working alone in the garage the last 3 nights, I am still happy.
