The general consensus on this forum is to not use those Russell adapter fittings as pictured. The plastic retainer can fail, and there have been reports of resultant fires or near misses. It is recommended to swap out those fiittings (as I did) for the re-engineered Russell fittings that employ a positive locking system. 644120 for 3/8 x -6AN, and 644110 for 5/15 x -6AN.

the fittings I got bolt together, no plastic parts. is that what you were specifying?

I would need to know the bolt circle and pattern of your cv flange. Takes about 3hrs or so to make the reluctor wheel. I usually build these for 911 specific cars. Let me me know your diminsions and let me think about a fair price.

modifying the stock strut housings by dropping the spindle height 2" to raise the stance of the car in the front. also making my own coilover kit and adapting it to the strut. then I will duplicate for the rear as well.

rally car... 450chp 5.3 ls1, 2280lb car, FIA cromoly full roll cage tied to all suspension points, momo race seats, 5 point harnesses, fire suppression system, reinforced suspension and shock towers, lifted 4", 16x6 forged fuchs race wheels, BFG Baja champion rally kevlar tires, new bearings, new bilsteins, new BREMBO 4 piston calipers on all four corners, stainless brake hoses, cross drilled cryoed rotors, rebuilt 5 speed gearbox with custom gearset for rallying, next is to paint it white and get it ready for graphics and numbers...

Outstanding! Lower weight is usually though of as a good thing. But since the 911 is designed to have a lot of weight behind the rear axle, will this upset the handling with the lighter engine? What about if you had an Al block 5.3?

the iron block 5.3 is the same weight as the Porsche motor that was In it. I have several l33 al block 5.3's too but was keeping this car in the low buck range on purpose. I rebuilt the factory bilstein struts with adjustable coil overs so I can adjust spring rate and help with off road capabilities. I also reinforced the shock tower metal in the car to take the abuse like the rally 911's of the 80's. here In the next month or so I will be able to tell you how it handles in the dirt and small jumps and stuff as I have entered a rally for april 26th. thanks for the input.
post script; I have less than 3grand in the car so far...
