So I am being told that there is NOTHING wrong with the harness and computer from the supplier and that its me and my motor that are the problem. That it has to be something mechanical in the motor causing this. I get rich codes both banks

ANY IDEAS?

in my opinion you just need to do a CASE relearn. This is probably why you got the random crankshaft sensor code.

are the injectors leaking. This would give you rich readings at idle/low speed. Hook up gauge and with ignition on engine off, clap off fuel line and see if pressure drops.

There is a table in the tune for whether the regulator is vacuum referenced or not. Is it set correctly?

Have you tried drilling a 1/8" or smaller hole into the throttle body plate yet? When the EVAP, EGR, Air Pump, etc. emission stuff is removed that is changing what air is getting injected into the engine after the MAF. The engine is expecting a certain amount of air from these devices but isn't getting it. The hole in the throttle plate should get you in the ball park and if you are not satisfied you can get someone to dyno/wide band tune it to perfection later.

If the computer was working, wouldnt it compensate for this and open throttle plate a bit more?

I'm assuming when they program the computer they have certain constant inputs that are not dependent on sensor readings that are determine from controlled testing. Any air injected into the engine after the MAF reading is taken would be part of this constant value. My thinking is that the engine cannot compensate for this lost air because everything it is reading from the sensors still in place are telling it that what it is doing is correct but the missing constant value of air is not present and the engine won't idle. I heard about an aftermarket system that is completely self tuning, even for boosted applications that would be capable of overcoming your situation but the factory computer is setup to work well for the OEM configurations and is based on a different theory of operation.

Worse case if you drilled the TB blade would be that it wouldn't work and then you could either fill the hole with a rivet/epoxy or get a new blade from the junkyard.

just tried unplugging the tb and starting it and it starts and idles....but on like 4-5 cylinders.... cylinders 4 and 6 are cold, and 1 and 7on the passenger side, and 5 feels like its hitting every second time (slightly warm)
Is this just limp mode?
And if I delete codes while its running....it just stalls, but if I fire it up again with my foot on the gas it fires all cyinders...

I should still start and idle on all cylinders in limp mode.

Shees man let us know when you get tuner software on it to ensure you have all the emissions disabled properly and can tweak things or you drill that hole.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
