Default lil fox help please.

alright so i got my motor fired up but i need to finish up connecting it to the car through the ignition switch. when i pulled the motor i pulled all the harness and coil and all. i do have that one round grey connector that sits by the drivers side shock tower.

anyways im tryin to figure out how to get power to my ignition siwtch/ fuse block and all that good stuff so the car side of things will work again.

i ran power to the ignition switch but its almost like i lost a ground somewhere since that harness/ pcm got removed.

any help will be greatly appreciated. thanx!

i have found some diagrams but am a little bit lost.

Will the engine turn over on the switch?

If not did you "jump" across the neutral start switch?

If you removed the starter solenoid, there are a couple of wires that are connected to the battery side. They feed the fuse box, power windows, and such. They need to be connected to power the car.

I tied the white/red and red/blue (I think that was the colors) together under the carpet.

Zipster, do you know which wires?

Should be a thick yellow wire, it was connected to the starter solenoid on the drivers side fender.

What other wires did you remove from the starter solenoid? Also was your car a 4 or 8 cylinder originally?

Also, there is a group of ground wires on the front of the drivers side strut tower. They need to be grounded.

looks like it was right next to the master cylinder. in the pic i posted up there that is looking up at the shock tower. hiding wire harnesses.

oh and in no particular order heres the colors from that plug.

red/green
orange/black
black/yellow
red/blue
black/yellow
red/white
green/purple
white/pink

looks like thats the plug. top right between the reservoir cap and strut mount.

looking at this pic i think i see some wires i might need. i think i cut and capped them and taped them up inside that harness i tucked away.

If you want I can look at my car tomorrow night and tell you where it goes in mine. I have a 1991 2.3L T5 car. I'm pretty sure it went to the engine harness or the EDIS but I can't remember. I have not pulled any wiring out of my car yet because I plan to run the OEM temp, oil pressure, coolant, and fuel level gauges, so I need some of the engine harness wiring.

ive done swaps before and usually its like just find the right wires either off the ignition switch or fuse block and you get power again but this thing for some reason has me lost. lol
