ignition and starter on fox body
Thanks in advance
if its a GM Motor, you need a GM Starter for that motor. its all about how it bolts up and how the teeth align with the flywheel
starter and alternator are like any car...
alternator to the battery
starter to the battery thru a fuse and solenoid activation goes thru the Column wiring.

Can you elaborate?im a bit confused
you need a GM starter..
if you use a flexplate/flywheel from a Chevy Tahoe, you should get a starter for one as well
you cannot use a mustang starter on your GM engine...it wont bolt up, and it likely wouldnt line up...
what else are you confused about?
Now believe it or not I did get to use the mustang starter wires and solenoid on my suburban starter
