Downpipe Updates. M2K knows fab work pretty damn well.
Pics:
Driver side downpipe

Looks a little closer to the steering shaft
Top view of Driver side downpipe
But he said plenty of room and took a pic showing that
Passenger side downpipe

Plenty of room for the starter
Completed downpipes
Sadly for the BOV, i cant put it where I really wanted it. I wanted it on the end of the charge pipe to mimic the WG placement. I also cant put them in the middle as there isn't room between the charge pipe and the radiator... I just told them to put it where they thought it would look best. We'll see how it turns out!
Part two of the downpipes. Passenger side getting knocked out.
Bracket made to hold the downpipe.
I think the fit to the floor is quite nice.
And they did a great job centering it with the trans member pass through locations.

LOL. Man this is just my first car. Build has snowballed since it first started and just want a fun car.
Going back there is a lot I'd change and do differently but it is what it is at this point.

Thanks! Been tough at time to keep pushing through. Starting with a budget of 20k and the idea of a LS2/T56 swap, this has taken a far different turn!
I hope to have the car back from M2K in the next week or two and then the work will start on my end for doing the finishing work. Motor comes out and oil pan may be changed or see if i can modify it a bit as it hits the rack right now. While motor is out the firewall will be finished up.
After all that interior and wiring will go in and we'll be getting closer to firing it up. Really hope I can make TX2K next year, but if not then maybe I'll make Power Tour!

Wastegate re-circulation piping is completed.
Completed down pipe sections with the wastegate re-circulation tie in.
He went to building the exhaust and made me an x-pipe and welded in the vibrant resonators to try and kill a little more sound/drone than the turbos will.
System installed in the car.
Very happy with how far up he has the exhaust tucked under the car. The car is as low as it would ever be right now. It'll be coming up prob 1" or so do be at "driving" level.

It's got a bit left yet but it's slowly shaping up.
Few updates. Wastegate dump is done.
Fabricated the close outs for the filters in the fender.
Passenger side installed.
Drivers side installed.
And this is the start of where the filter will be. This is just behind the headlight. Should be plenty of fresh air in there.
Hoping for more progress soon. Should be competing the kit early next week.
