Depends on which gas pedal. Certain years use different pedals. Because I had an 06, I had to use a specific pedal/TAC module.

x2.

I had a truck pedal that was adjustable so it was a lot more complicated than most. Just cut off the pedal and welded part of the old Monte pedal to what was left.

Same basic recipe for all pedals though; bolt the pedal to the firewall and weld on the old one so the placement is close to stock.

Not a G body specifically. But it's pretty easy to shorten the truck pedal.

I bought the Locar pedal and module for about 400.00. Its an easy install and looks great under the dash. Nice and easy driving till you to put the pedal to the metal.

I used the truck pedal that came with my 03 engine. I cut about 6" out and welded back together. Been in the car for 2 years and works perfect.

Default Gbody LS Swap with Impala pedal - Help needed

Hi,

this is my 1sr post here and my 1st LS swap. I’ve gotten to wiring and I’m having trouble with my gas pedal. I have a Gen 3 2006 5.3 with tac module and wiring. I saw that the Gen 4 could use the impala pedal after being repined. Does anyone have any experience with this or know how to get this tac to work with the impala pedal?

I realize this isn’t necessary what you were asking for, but Holley now makes DBW brackets for popular LS swapped vehicles .

They are intended for using the LS LS3 Corvette pedal. They are on sale so I bought one (70-80 Fbody) and it fit my car perfectly. They’re powder coated too. Win-win.
