How to wire 68 camaro ls swap
Can't seem to find how to wire my 68 camaro using the existing oldschool harness and working in the new truck harness. I'd imagine you have to run the hot to the ecu to distribute power back to the car side ie head lights interior lights etc.. Anyone have a good link for this or just some direction??

Try www.lt1swap.com for you 3 wire harness mod. Just don't use the old coil wire for your keyed hot. It doesn't stay at 12v while cranking.

There are several build threads over at Team Camaro (in the Build Threads section of the forums) detailing how different builds have wired swaps like this.
The existing harness basically stays the same to power the car. You can get 12V to power the ECM and charge power to the alternator from off of the junction block behind the battery, or the horn relay buss on the other side of the core support.

when I wired mine up I used 12v keyed source from the fuse box to a relay to power the pcm its relatively easy using the wiring diagrams that are specific to your harness/pcm I know they are stickied somewhere in here.. in the hall of fame section..
