I would get good at launching and driving it before I spent more money. An intake would help but you have more in it than what you are getting out of it.

My "stock" LX hatch trapped 103 mph and ran 12.9's-13.0's on a 1.70 short time. On a 175 shot it ran low 11's at 122 mph (not enough tire). You could cut a full second off the ET with the setup you have now with just gears and tires. A converter will just make it quicker.

Also that Holley intake is very tall. The Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT is shorter and is as effective or more effective.

Man thats a ton of money/effort to run your desired times. For what you'd spend on a cam/gears/LSD/converter/intake you could have put a small turbo on it. Even with the 2.73's and OE converter you'd hit your goal and then some. NA builds seem like alot of investment for little gain these days.

Best of luck though! "Hooking up" is alot harder on a car than just poring the power to it on the big end of the track.

I'd vote on sticky tires, oe intake with smaller cam, 3.73 gears, and a 175 shot.

That's the problem. Some people throw money at the engine to run faster times, when you could just fix the suspension.
Adding a different intake is not going to help you run faster times until you can put that power to the ground. And that means you need to buy better suspension components and better tires.

I would go in this order:

Sub frame connectors
Hoosier drag radials 275/50/15
Stall matched to your setup and goals
Gears, 3.73 should be more then enough

Don't spend any more money on engine. If you still don't reach your goal, start pulling weight out of the car. There are all kinds of things you can remove and you won't even notice it's gone or even see for that matter. Fox bodies are super light stock but can be made to be ridiculously lite with lil effort. Tbh, a good stall and tires will get you a second easy....
