Proper Installation of AN Fitting for FI

Default Proper Installation of AN Fitting for FI

I'm a newbie to custom fuel injection lines so bear with me. Please look at the video and tell me if this is the proper AN fitting for high pressure fuel injection when using a hard line. I'm planning on attaching a male end with AN 6 high pressure braided fuel line that hopefully will screw into my female AN 6 hard line conversion.

Tube sleeve and nut then flare to 37°, presto.

No......like Seb stated, tube nut, sleeve and a 37 degree flare.....then you can get a -6AN male to -6 AN hose fitting to screw into the nut and go from there...

I picked up a hard tube compression fitting to male -6 AN rated to 300 psi I believe. Some of the others are rated to 50 max. The p/n is in the first post of my Firebird build. I picked it up at anplumbing.com

Summit told me those aluminum compression fittings are rated 50 PSI max. OTOH, stainless fittings and tubing (like Parker-Hannifin) are rated 10k PSI...

Exactly what you need. You don't need stainless but it's one and done and never worry about it again...You can use steel also. I don't care for the aluminum ones, but that's just me...
