What Fuel Pumps are you guys using?
I'd say find a way to use an in-tank pump. Many people using external inline pumps end up overheating them if driven a lot and in the summer. They last longer when fuel is cooling them!

For a driver, internal is the best way to go. If you're racing and the pump fails you could lose the engine. On the street the last thing you want is a low / no fuel pressure situation to leave you stranded. I personally prefer Walbro pumps from a legitimate vendor (some eBay vendors sell fakes). They have great quality control and have been reliable in every situation I've put them in plus they aren't very expensive.
If you are looking for a good, somewhat cheaper pump, the Pierburg is a good route to go. They will support 550 hp and run about $230. They even come in a rubber case to keep the noise and vibrations down.
