Cut out my spare tire well and cut a nice circle with my trusty harbor freight angle grinder and started to weld it in and ran out of argon. At least now I can machine standoffs for the fuel cell and start to run all the lines.

Dual 044 bracket arrived today, very nice quality.
Waiting for some more fittings from summit and then all I need are injectors and ms3 to start it up.

Little update, finished welding my trunk shut and ran my fuel lines. Got a set of kirkey pro street drag seats, going to buy the covers and RJS harnesses soon.

Thanks guys!

It's not actually progress on the build but it is at the same time.
Finally bought a tig, went with the Miller Diversion 180.
Going to run 220 to the garage and pick up some filler rod at the local welding place.

Found a set of bbs rc041's on craigslist the price was right and they are forged and 1 of 150 sets I've been told. VRwheels will be making lips and barrels for them, and I will get the centers polished.

I am contemplating doing the same swap but AUTO, besides driveline what other mods would you recommend? Especially to hold that kind of power and keep it on the street

Awesome build! How much are they going to charge for the rebarreling of those wheels?

Thanks, most places said about $180-220 per lip or barrel.

Bought some more parts. Wilwood manual pedal setup because the booster doesn't clear, shaved valve covers (don't worry I'm going to powdercoat them), AN fittings for breather setup and oil feed/drain, and coil relocator brackets.

I'm still on the fence of doing the LS swap or putting a 62mm on my M20B27. I think the turbo may be too big. What were the specs on your HX35?

Rear end is all sorted now.
E36 diff with a 4 clutch rebuild and 3.46 gears, CAtuned chromoly axles, z3 hubs, e46 brakes, camber/toe adjustment tabs welded in, raised subframe 12mm, cut and boxed/reinforced subframe to clear 1350 u joint.

Had to mill part of my diff to accept the 2 extra clutches.

It's going to be a tight fit, I still plan on reinforcing the subframe a little bit more just for peace of mind.

Next step is to machine an adapter to bolt the 1350 u joint flange to my diff input flange.

There's not much left to do for the car overall.
-Decide on front brake setup
-Wheels and tires
-Measure for driveshaft
-Make crossover and exhaust
-Buy radiator
-Finish intercooler piping
-Buy seat covers and harnesses
