So I went and bought a full mtech 2 kit, trying to sell the spoiler if anyone is interested.
Here's the front all mocked up. I'm looking for a gutenparts mtech 2 lip if anyone has a lead on one I will gladly pay a pretty penny for it.

Today I welded up my turbo drain to the pan and elbow to my compressor vband.
Correct size front master cylinder comes tomorrow so I will swap that in soon. Taking the work equips to Espo's powdercoating this week to get finished up.

Great job on the build!!
I am gearing up for an L33/t56 swap into an 89 325 and I wanted to ask you about the T56 rebuild. I havn't build a tranny before and I was wondering how difficult it was? Also, there are a lot of sources out there for the kits, how was your experience with your kit? did it come with everything? any issues?
thanks and keep up the good work

I bought my kit from hawks third gen, it really wasn't that bad and I learned a lot about the transmission itself and it's one more thing I can say I did myself. The only thing that was an issue was the bronze fork pads didn't fit right on the 1-2 shift fork so I had to sand down the fork a little, not a big deal.

Pulled the pedals back out this morning to swap I the big *** 1-1/8" master for the front calipers. Waiting on a wilwood proportioning valve from my buddy to finish up the brake system.

Dropped the work equip faces off for finishing. So I have an Evo 9 intercooler that I originally cut the inlets off and welded them on straight but now I need 3" inlets so I redid it. Here's how it used to look.

I thought I recognized that turbo. I have been watching your brothers BMW powered Volvo build on Turbo Bricks.

You are right, that's for his car.
Both cars should be done soon.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Degree'd the cam, since it's a gen 3 cam in a gen 4 block that had vvt/dod.
Should be putting everything in for good this week and firing it up.

Put the motor in for now to make all the AN lines for the breathers and power steering. Planned to make my plug wires too but I bought the wrong ends. Welded the overflow tank to the side of the radiator too.

Thanks, they were KAMotors ultra wide flares. I just couldn't bring myself to cutting up a perfectly good car just to stick on fiberglass flares. I'm sure I will eventually get tired of spinning in every gear but until then I'll just run 235s haha

Cut the hole for the shifter bigger and finally got the trans bolted in.
Since everything is in it's final resting place I was able to make the intercooler piping.

Given the power this thing is going to put out, I don't think 275s are going to make a bit of difference. Tires stand no chance with this machine.

For budget's sake you'll probably stick with whatever 225/235 you can find after you roast a pair of 275s.
