Cool.
how did you make sure the timing cover didn't warp? Do you weld it while attached to the block?

Slid the crank pulley on, turbo drain clears just right.
All I need now to start it is a fitting for the drain flange.
The one I had was damaged.

My brother powder coated my diff cover, let me know if you need any work done.
Going to have a bunch more stuff done to match, just wait.

Good looking cover. That glossy surface should also make it easier to clean off any greasy accumulation.

Killer build and really nice fab work. I actually like the 2-tone look you have going. The only thing I'd say is lose the stickers on the quarter windows and windshield. The exhaust will say enough!

YouTube is much better than photobucket for videos.

Time to make a bad *** down pipe/exhaust.
Vibrant 304SS 4"
Oval to fit past the starter and tuck up under the car so it doesn't scrape.

Down pipe is all tacked together, supposed to be 60° tomorrow so I'll weld it all up. Need to have my brother ceramic coat the turbo and down pipe.

Bad picture, but cut the bottom half of the radiator support off and replaced with tubing so I could fit my fan easier. Also welded up brackets and bungs to radiator so I can mount it and make coolant piping tomorrow. Even had to shorten the lower inlet since there's barely any real estate left in the engine bay.

Finished up coolant piping today. Diff showed up from reshimming too.
Now I need to seal up the diff and put that in so I can order a driveshaft.
This thing if finally getting towards the end.

2.25" with a big single 60mm wastegate.

Finally made an idler pulley for up top that bolts over the water pump.
Alternator bracket is adjustable and ended up using a ford 5.0 belt.
Also ordered my driveshaft soooooo this turd is almost ready to melt some tires.

Hey after you get it running for awhile and all tell me how hot it runs... I've been told that blocking off the heater hose nipples like that will cause it to overheat which is how I have mine... After you run it through some heat cycles, can you tell me how the ECT is doing? Thanks in advance and love the build! I just read through the whole thing, it'll be pretty sweet

I've been told if I drill a hole inside to connect the 2 sides it will be fine but we will see
