I go to Radio Shack and pick up a small LED. Color depends on my whim at the time. Latest one I mounted on the aluminum under dash extension.

I just used a red LED from vatozone, it's a 5/16" light with a trim ring that's about 1/2". Looks pretty nice for $10.

Received this back from snakebite in Australia...I'll be ordering 4 lights over the winter...left, right signal, highbeam and check engine.

Here is the response...

Hi Leon, Thanks for your enquiry.
Postage/handling options to USA are:

Standard post $17
Pack & Track $23
Registered $23

I don't know of anyone stocking the logo lights in the
USA. Ours are engraved and we organise that here. There is
a stencil type around but I have heard it can wear off over time.

There is a dimension diagram of the lights on the website.
Go to logo lights, click on product, then click on tab marked
"extra images" and you will find the diagram down toward the
bottom of the page.

Kind regards
Vicki

I went with the 12V LEDs and think they look like crap. I'm ordering the snakebites in case the dash needs to come out for anything.
reedld, don't forget the brake light

I like those snakebite ones, but they are enormous. I prefer the small LEDs.

I used these for my cutlass dash for check engine, brake, turn signals, & high beams. There small and easy to mount. They come in many colors bright or defused. I used defused but honestly the blue is to bright for highbeam it shines right in your eye in my case. If you look close in pic I corrected the problem by covering it with blue masking tape.

Thanks to all who have added their input. Rocky topper...nice freakin dash man!

You could add a resistor in line to the blue LED...it'd dim it some. I had a similar issue with my cobalt blue autometer gauges...until I installed their dimmer.

I got a comment about how fake the carbon fiber sticker looked and no one would believe it's real.
My reply, no one EVER believed the original Olds sticker was real wood....lol
