O ok thanks man. My engine will be in the shop for another 3 weeks and im in no hurry to get it done if these new products are going to make this swap alot easier as im still kinda new to all this. Now would you happen to know if these motor mounts are going to be setting in the engine in the stock location or offset?
Are they going to be made to clear the heaterbox and coil or will it clear the cross member? Im also wondering about it clearing the stock ac compressor as im wanting to run ac in it. Im guessing the tranny mount is going to coincide with the motor mounts. Where will the tranny set in stock location and will they have the offset for the exhaust? Do u have any idea about an oil pan that doesnt hang under the crossmember for this swap or a setup that will get me there I dont like the idea of that. Thanks
Read the F%*!)#& thread I've already answered these questions.
Let me know if I left anything out.
There you go Todd I fixed you response for you. I'm sick of these threads ending up being 58 pages of different people asking the same questions over and over again because they're to lazy to read.
Fry I think ur user name is f#$@!d up it should say bag licker... jump off his nuts bra
He was complaining about YOU, not Toddoky. Your questions were answered way back on the first page, in regards to the setback, you just need to read the thread.

Yes, Toddoky not only seems like a nice guy, but is here as a representative of his company so he's going to act polite and professional. But if you look at the https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...thread-66.html it's 66 pages long and a third of it is people asking questions that have already been answered because there to lazy to read.
I guess as the person that derailed this thread I'll be the one to say lets get it back on topic, and to Toddoky thanks for doing this and keep the updates coming.
I'd say we recovered nicely there and can now get back on track with the info you guys want here. The bad news is that the only work I got done on the G-body parts this week is related to instruction sheets and required internal documentation...the good news is that type of work is always done near the end of projects so we're getting closer to the end now. I'll post up some more images next week after the holiday, everyone enjoy a few cold ones while you ponder how awesome your LS powered G-machine is going to be once it's put together with the new Hooker parts.
No time to reread thread, moving right now. Did you say that the 302-1 pan will work with your mounts with a frame notch & still clear steering linkage

That assumption was made off-the-cuff and after further investigation I've concluded that you would most likely have to gain all the clearance needed for fitment of the 302-1 pan by notching/sectioning the pan itself. If you are skilled with the use of a cut-off wheel and with aluminum fabrication, it can be done. The only instance I would suggest the use of the 302-1 pan over the 302-2 pan is when you are planning a 4" stroke engine build. Other than that, the 302-2 has better clearance all around.
Thing is that i already bought the 302-1 pan as well as the mounts before this thread started. And i really would like to use the new mounts and crossmember. I might just try the notch of the crossmember first. Any new pictures of the car.

Hey guys. I've spent this past week installing and photographing the 1st-article samples of the engine brackets, headers and crossmember. There are subtle changes that have taken place between these parts and those that I posted pictures of previously and that was due to design variances and build tolerance discrepancies discovered between an early model Malibu we've tested the parts on and our Monte Carlo SS development vehicle. The changes made have provided better fitment on both the cars and I'll I can say regarding the build tolerances of these cars (and all others built in the same time period)is...holy crap. For those of you interested in the minute details of using these parts in your swap, I've formulated and attached a tech data sheet (PDF file at the bottom of this post)that pretty much lays it all out for you. It's 6 pages long, so crack open a bottle or two of your favorite brew and dive in. Here's the photo results of the last test fit session...all the important characteristics such as ground clearance and A/C box clearance are represented.
Mighty fine there Toddoky! I'm slobbering all over myself. When do you think it will be available to order?
For anyone who may be interested in starting a swap with the new Hooker G-body swap components, 12643HKR engine brackets are now on the shelf and available to be ordered. Picking up a set of the mounts will allow you to get the engine in place and perform wiring and other tasks while the process for releasing the headers and crossmember is completed.
Toddoky, is it possible to get a rough measurement from the front of the crossmember to the front of the balancer. I have a f-body balancer on my car in the pictures....
i'm having some issues with your competition and curious if your mounts keep the motor in roughly the same place so i can keep moving with the build and come back to explore options with your headers when they come out
