Spent about 5 hours today making more **** quality patch panels fit.
Had to slice this outer rocker lengthwise and pull it out nearly 1/2" to meet the bottom of the door.

DIdn't you say you got it from LMC? I thought they were a decent supplier. Did you not mention extra fitting may be required?

Yeah, but for both outer rockers to be THAT far off is pretty sad.
$700+ in patch panels, all of them took major work to fit right.
I have to put my front end on tomorrow and check gaps.

Truck is coming along great man.....please never paint that truck though. Its going to be epic.
I might do a different intake though, I have never liked the truck intakes.
Nice work, we really should meet up sometime, just so similar in tastes.

That's the plan, I'm painting the interior the factory fawn color, and then rust proofing all the door jams and other cancer areas (most likely spray on undercoating).
I'm really pushing to finish it for Lonestar Roundup, but have 2 other C10's now.
Ordered a lokar trans mounted 16" shifter, Captainfab's PS bracket, and some other odds and ends. Probably pick up a radiator tomorrow. I pulled the front end back off as I still have some things to finish. Just wanted to check the gaps after replacing the rockers.

Ordered a 16" 4l80e shifter from American Shifters. I initially ordered a Lokar, but I really dig the adjustability of the American shifters piece.
Coated my tank, ordered some new filler neck pieces for it (so it doesn't stink inside the cab).
Ordered a vette regulator and some other small stuff.

Injected fuel system I built using the stock tank. Factory sending unit still mounts in the original location next to it. Just waiting on a new float.
Also finally installed the PSI harness. Very impressed so far. I did have the #1 injector hot wire pull out of the connector, but it might have been my fault. EV6 connectors suck ***.

Truck looks great. Early on you mentioned z'ing the frame. You can also notch the crossmember a couple inches to allow it to tuck up into the frame more if you want to go lower.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...449548&page=41

Finally working on this thing again. It's a really tight squeeze in the factory low hump tunnel. So far i'm really impressed with the American Shifter and the amount of adjustability. **** feels kinda cheap, might replace it.

C notch is mostly done. Rearranged the shop today and moved it out of the corner.
Put the bed back on to get it ready to raise the floor.
Still trying to find someone down here to tune it as I've never tuned an auto setup.
Not as low as I would have liked, but it looks really good.

Almost finished raising the bed floor, now I need to widen the rear tubs to fit the 22's (I wasn't running the tubs before).
Finished running brake lines and all the air lines.
Also re-worked the painless harness, and loomed it. Finally happy with the wiring on the truck.
Going to put the axle back in today and get it back on the ground.
