Default 1968 camaro 370/6060 swap

picked up a 1968 Camaro with a 350/th350 combo. Pretty much a striper car. I plan on swapping a lsx and six speed along with a ford 9in into it. I have a friend helping with much of the swap, as work has been full retard this year.

bmr rear suspension with ford 9in and watts link, with sub frame connectors

new 6060 and motor about to go in.

headman hustler headers 2inx3

motor sitting in with holley hi ram. I think I will need a taller hood.

or vic jr I can't make up my mind.

weld rts wheels for the car.

fuel tank

I wanted to do a Detroit speed front clip, but I ran out of money. For the time being it will stay stock with eibach front springs and 4th gen f body brakes up front with poly bushings.

I can appreciate wanting to stay with the stock hood. That's why I went with the LS6. Would it fit under a 2" cowl hood?

Yeah, I was stuck between the Detroit Speed and Art Morrison. I finally wnet with the AME since the DSE did not have a very good trans mount solution and the AME was bolt in.

Nice looking project. How is the header clearance and what engine mounts did you use?

I used brp mounts. Headers fit Like a glove but hang a little low.
