I am looking for a fuel tank for my 65 Chevelle as well as the fuel pump. Currently it has the poly fuel cell in the trunk w/o the fuel pump.
Fuel Cell in the trunk. I want to replace with a under the body system.
I would like to replace the fuel cell with a under the trunk system setup for my EFI N/A LS1 that will be doing about 750 HP at the crank. I have looked at Tanks Inc. which look great. Here is the link to the tank for the 65 Chevelle

Look up the Spectra Premium fuel injection tanks on Rock Auto for your car.
They are a pretty decent bolt-in option, though the fuel pump will certainly not support 750 crank hp, so you'll end up up upgrading this single pump to a large single capable of the hp.
Don't plan on doing dual pumps in this tank unless you just love fabricating things from scratch because the lock ring diameter won't fit two pumps. this is the battle I've fought for quite a while now on my Spectra tank.
The tanksinc setups are a little more modular to upgrade pump options in the future.
We had fuel starvation issues during autocrosses and found this tank from VetteWorks. I've used one of these on a 70 chevelle, it uses a 5gen Camaro pump setup it has MANY fuel pump options
I ended up just getting a new OEM fuel tank and sump and went with a large single pump I'll be boosting.
In the end it seemed the best solution even if it was the most labor intensive. I cant say this thread really helped, but FWIW, I do appreciate those that did try to help.
I have a Tanks Inc tank in my 67 and it will only fit 1 pump as well. I plan on either fabricating something or going with a tank from Rick's. They are pricey but suuuper nice.
