Chris,

What happened, still more clearance issues? Looks like it's fitting in the pix except for the motor mount bolt?

Yeah the holley motor mounts do a really good job of putting the engine as low as possible in the subframe to avoid modifying the trans tunnel. It works great except when you want to put an A/C compressor down there. I thought about changing the motor mounts but then I would have to change the oil pan, headers, transmission cross memeber and it would move the engine higher which could cause hood clearance issues with the supercharger. I could have notched the subframe but it would have been a pretty big notch. Someone wanted to buy my front accessory drive setup so I figured I might as well just avoid all that and change the accessory drive. This will keep me from having to cut into my already powder coated subframe and doing some pretty severe surgery to the motor mount.

I got my subframe modified. The lsa with stock accessory drive. Speedtech mounts and crossmember autokraft pan fits nice. I have cbm lower sd7 mount waiting on the updated adjuster. I can post pics if interested

The holley mounts put the engine very low and about 1/4-1/2 inch futher back than the ATS mounts from what I can tell. I almost changed mounts, but then I would have to change the headers and transmission crossmember. So I just finally gave up and ordered a C1 pulley setup.

Looks good. I thought about changing my motor mounts but then I would have had to change the trans crossmember and headers. Have you checked your hood clearance?

You would also have to cut your tunnel open and raise it to achieve the same inclination angle you have now Chris. Your car's center of gravity will in turn be higher as well. Have you considered a low-mount kit that drives the compressor off of the forward main belt?

Todd,

Holley should make a low mount A/C bracket that is driven off the inboard grooves on the balancer. I like the option of having the A/C compressor down low and not very visible, and for me, a high mount doesn't work because I have the tube for the shaker right there.

It will fit however it is tight. I am also running a very small cowl hood.I chose this accessory drive option because I liked all the accessories low and tight.Price wise it was also reasonable.
