Got in on the first small batch of gauge clusters to hold a Holley dash.
Hopefully have it in a few weeks. Will probably end up having it hydrodipped or something similar but it'll be a while before I've got the Holley stuff back anyways.
No one seems to be interested in building my 80e, they just want to sell me their 4-5k transmission. On the fence about buying the parts and attempting it myself.

Had been thinking about buying Jakes stage 2 kit and an input shaft and giving it a go. But that's $1,000 in parts id hate to waste. I've got no trouble tearing down a manual trans but don't have any experience with an auto. Can it be done with basic tools (snap ring pliers, rachet, wrenches etc)? or is there anything Special I'll need?

I've spoken to Jake, it won't be worth sending it to him. Just won't save enough money over buying one he's already built. I'm only about 2 hours from RPM and they flat out said they wouldn't build it. But they'd be happy to sell me a $4k+ transmission instead.

Started fitting an fbody radiator I had, looking like it'll work better than I initially thought.
Selling the Holley intake unfortunately. It's making for some awkward bends on the cold side, sits just too close to the hood for comfort and I'm not willing to shim the kmember or switch hoods.
Progress is progress as little as it is.

It clears but is too close for comfort and I really like my hood. It puts the TB so far forward in the bay, I could make it work but it causes more problems than it solves. My hood is only a 3" though.
