Killer build!

I like the in ground lift, but does it interfere with pulling the tranny or other work under the car?

My father installed the lift 30 yrs ago when he built the garage. It's old school like he was. U can get to just about everything under the car I've changed trannys on it. The arms have pads on them that u can flip up to gain more clearance.

That's awesome, I love how little room those take up when not in use.

Any idea of capacity?

Very cool build. I love G-body cars and think that Cutlass is one of the best looking designs. It's nice to see that that there are still ones this clean to be had.

Did you have any issues with the 2010 camaro water pump and the holley a/c bracket? Im going with the same holley bracket but thinking of adding a Meziere electric pump. Its advertised for a 2010 camaro.

No my front drive went together nice . I researched it on here for a while and just copied it from another guy .i kept the vvt so my options were limited to the truck spacing.as long as the electric water pump has the bosses for the tensioner u should be all set as holley Ac bracket bolts mainly to the head or at least the one I used did.

You seem to have done or currently working on doing exactly what i been hoping/planning on doing. Im still a bit on the part collection phase. I been also looking into the mast cam and spring combo..but they dont have any prices online.

The 4l80 went right in fits nice. Your best bet is to call mast I just got off the phone with them ordering my m-90 ECM/harness. They have a spot on tune for this motor/cam as they used to sell this combo as a crate engine package.

I think the m-90 ecm with full harness, gas pedal , all sensors, fuse block, relays ,cam/ springs is around 2500$ Seems like a lot but they give u everything u need to get your project running including the tune matched to your set up and they have the ability to remotely.tune your ecm if u hook it up to a lap top with the included usb cable. That's why I went with this system. There is no one around here that can tune my car in mass. This is plug n play

Electronics finally here!!!! Last big piece of the puzzle. I can't belive how complete this harness is .fan relays fuel pump relays o2sensors , usb cable. This ecm is set up to control the 6l80/90 trans so I have to go with a tci ez tcu for 4l80 .at least they still communicate thru can/bus.. If I knew that in begining I probably would have tried to stuff a 6 speed in this car but I'm happy with a 4l80 now I need gauges. Dakota digital as soon as I can swing it. The corvette pedal looks easy to install it's pretty small.

Ok so I installed harness and rigged up a battery to see if it would start. The nose is outside buried in 5-6 ft of snow so I can't put rad in etc.. I've just been waiting to hear this thing for a year. Finally got it going so I went inside and got my mom to take my start up video. The car has open headers because summit has not sent me the exhaust yet. So I start it up and thing is so loud she gets scared and runs away pretty funny but at least it runs !

I just added the idler relocation bracket and 2010 camaro water pump to my LY6. I am currently here, and have an LS3 tensioner on the way to finish.

When you put the holley ac bracket, do you remember what part #?

Also, what tensioner is that?

And finally, is that little pulley above the tensioner included with the holley, or a separate part number?

Here is what I had before. I think the Sanden is too bulky. I like the cleaner look of the holley.

Go on the holley site get the high mount pass side Ac bracket. My compressor is the r4 type but they sell the same bracket for a sanden compresser too. All the other part numbers for tensioners etc I got off the holley site. I basicly copied there front drive system and substituted a modified truck bracket for ps/ alt bracket I think the tensioner is a 97 corvette but the part number is on their site

Ok idler pulley is 97 corvette
Dayco # 89059. ( u need 2)
Tensioner 97 corvette
Gates# 38194
Gm# 12559325
Ac bracket is holley 20-133
Then u need spacer kit 21-1 or 21-2 or 21-3 depending on what crank pulley and water pump you are running look at holley figment guide to fig out . My car has vvt so I have to run truck spacing also my ps pulley is smaller than yours . Hope this helps

Thanks.

I am thinking about switching to the R4 because it is more compact. I also have the LY6 with the truck alt/ps bracket and 2010 water pump.

As a daily driver, you will like that you kept the vvt. So many people want to ditch it, but it really helps broaden the torque curve.
