To start off I don't know if this belongs here or if it's even welcomed since it a foreign car. But here goes nothing

Well, how do I start? I was advised to post this on this section instead of the "Road racing" section.

I reside in the mile high area, Longmont to be precise. Let's just say I have an unofficial PHD in rotary engines and while I highly regard them as a wonderful piece of machinery I must face the fact that they're getting old and parts are pricey and not usually reusable.

I am focusing my attn. in my 1989 Mazda RX-7 that previously had a Series 5 N/A 13B engine in it. I have owned over 8 of these cars and wrecked my dream car a Series 5 Turbo II in mint shape.

This is the engine I will will be swapping in with any luck I will have it in my home Sunday. LC9 5.3 Aluminum engine.

Picked up the engine today and looked at a 3rd gen RX7 I'm wanting to buy and keep the rotard as it is.

Now for the engine, I spoke with the tech that swapped out the engine and said that one of the lobes was worn from what he could see through the bottom.
Engine has 243 Heads
