Does the OEM 2nd gen firebird shift cable work on the 4L60e? If not, what will a later cable work (3rd gen/4th gen)? If anyone has any pics of the connection of the cable to at the trans, I'd appreciate it.

In fact they worked with converting a 68 Grand Prix shifter I'm putting
into my firebird. The shifter ended up being a Le man's shifter with the
shifter handle being from a firebird. Shiftwork worked with me to
get me everything straighten out.
