Default 6l80e tune problems

Ok, so I ordered a transmission tune for my nova with a 6l80e that would help it shift better and allow me to use the tu/td. We got the tune and instead of copying and pasting the tables we did a write entire and now it wont allow us to put the old tune back in. It says transmission mismatch when trying to go back to the old tune. We can change the engine tune but it no longer has anything under the transmission tab.(limp mode?) I then took it to the gm dealer and had them flash it. Brought it back and it still has the same problem. REALLY FRUSTRATED please help!

What year is the 6L80 and what tune did you load into it? What is the year and tune you have in the E38 ecm?

Its a 2010 camaro with the direct tu/td program. Not sure which it is but e38 sounds right. I bought a tune from Chris Henry out of florida. Heard good things about his work. He told me to copy and paste the tables and my tuner just did a write entire because I forgot to tell him and now its messed up. I'm not sure what the tune was out of that he sent me.

So everything is out of a 2010 Camaro including the tune. Is the car also a 2010 Camaro or something else. By the way I think you need a Body Control Module to run TUTD with the Camaro setup. As far as I know the Corvette tune is the only one that is direct. The guy who loaded your tune should have saved what was in there. Everyone I know does that "just in case". You might ask him.

So I called the dealer and I'm taking it back tomorrow. The guy who reflashed it says he wants to take a look at it and see whats up. This setup is in my nova without the bcm. I sent the tcm out to speartech and had them program it so its a direct wire from the transmission to the paddles. It ran and the trans shifted good but the paddles didn't work. I talked to Chris Henry and he said the the ecu wasn't tuned to recognize the signal from the paddles so thats why they weren't working. I guess we'll see what gm says tomorrow though. Hoping I didn't toast the tcm!
