just got my bmw 5.3 with manual trans running. it has cam ls1 intake and so on. car idles great. if just tap the throttle a little it revs up a bit, but wont rev very high. if you ease into it might get 3 or 4g out of it. hooked my scanner up and got codes p0650 and p1860. seems odd since i don't have automatic trans. pcm was tuned but can it be possible they didn't set up for manual trans? or do i need to put power or a ground to another wire off the pcm to fool it? when you stab the throttle its starts to rev and cuts right out as you lift off it will then rev a little more as you come off it. checked wires at maf seems to be normal. the tps is all in spec....

any ideas would be a help I'm sure!

Sounds like they just forgot to disable the p1860. Also check your fuel pressure. Should be 58-60 psi. If that's ok you probably need a real tune.
