Another winter went by. During this one upgraded the converter and the exthaust system.
Here is the stock and the new one side by side.
Shaving more than 55 lbs from the crank makes quite a difference.

Promised vid below. Upgrades during this winter were new street friendly reargearing (3.30), new cam (SDPC LS9 Powermax), Manley hardened pushrods and PAC springs. KB BAP and new tune next week.

Thanks! OEM 4l80e stock converter is just really heavy. Weight difference on scale was around 55 lbs. Ok, have to admit that there was some oil left inside the stock one and the new one was empty, but still.

Just found your thread today. A 5 year build but, man, what a fantastic job you've done. Love your car and your workmanship. Well done and it couldn't have been real easy being in Finland and having to have many parts shipped overseas to you. Congrats!
