LS2 into an Mazda RX8

That dude did it with a LS1, but pretty much the same. Ask him for pointers, he even has the gauges working in it.
They've done a few LS RX swaps.
This is definitely the best way to get an RX8 moving again, have fun not rebuilding it, or going through the usual muck-around operating procedures, needed to keep a rotary happy for general use. Love them, but they will never be made again for good reason.

Dumbass posting irrelevant information, then getting butthurt on being called out. Why not go out a post a link to a g-body ls1 swap while you're at it?
Yeah...I'm the one that's "butt hurt"...
You win Nick, I'm going to bow out now. You've obviously intimidated me with your superior knowledge of the LS world.
Oh yeah, speaking of butt hurt...I hope you make up with your boyfriend tonight so you feel better tomorrow.
(OP, I apologize for mucking up your thread, Best of luck with your build.)
get on NoRotors. lots of smart people there. avoid RX8Club. bunch of.whiney pussies on there. basically the swap section is.full of guys with stock cars trying to make the world love the roturd. i used a complete Hinson kit and paid over $5000 for it. i only bought it bc it saved ALOT of.time and guesswork. plus i like using properly built parts. i wouldnt use them again. components are tip tip but i can go on and on about the support. the instructions are useless. if you call them with a question they try to sell you something and when they find out you dont want to buy anything they put you on eternal hold or "ill call you back." the guy i bought the kit from waited 8 months for the kit to be.built AFTER he shelled out big bucks on the kit. in that time he fab'd his own stuff. i would use V8R or dare i say Stephens kit. im not impressed with his.kit though as it looks.like its made from home depot steel. and his parts are very clumsy and not very well designed. even intermediate fab skills should be a requisite for someone doing a swap. otherwise buy an LS car.
