it hangs down a little lower then i realized but i think i am going to leave it for now.

I also got my bracket all mocked up and everything fits great! i have plenty of clearance between the belt and TB and it looks like everything lines up correctly. I just ordered the rest of my exhaust piping so i should be able to start mocking up the manifolds shortly!

I wouldn't drive the car with that truck oil pan and your car don't look like its sitting on the ground all the way ??.Did you try the f-body pan ?. if this is the 2nd design teamz k-member then the f-body pan should fit ..but that k-member are not all the same from front to back so theres a chance that it won't fit...Did you make sure that the motor and trans sit at the right angle ?? should be lower in the back -1 ...-3......heres my AJE k-member and AJE trans cross member.. and f-body pan.

I havent tried any other pan's yet but im pretty sure the f-body pan will hit the k-member due to the sump being too far forward. I still need to pull the motor for final final assembly (only in there for mockup right now) so ill make a decision then. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem and when Dave at Teamz mocked up the 2nd design LS fox body k-member he used a th350 trans and f-body LS1 oil pan..,,..this is why a 4l60, 4l80 trans don't fit......those trans are taller........Dave was ask to put a note on his web site and never did..

Looking back at your pics u need to move the motor towards the fire wall....if a f-body pan don't fit then your motor mounts could be on the wrong side...but the k-members seem to be different .....

Heres some info

i took another look at this yesterday and i cant move the motor any farther back or else the shifter wont line up with the console. I dont really want to chop up the console any to make an oil pan fit (i do have a welder and the ability to modify the pan) so i might go that route.

Does anyone see any harm in just shortening the truck pan?

There's a swap kit that uses cut and shotened truck pan with good success. The only thing i saw added was the oil return bung and a trap door for hard acceleration to keep the oil from starving the pick up.

This guy was pissed and has the new teamz k member and he figure out he had the mounts on the wrong side but u can see he could not move the motor back cause the 4l60 trans was hitting the tunnel so he ended up making short motor mounts like the other guy had to do..

Great build. Just a note though, you have your engine mount's on backwards, That's why your engine is sitting as far forward as it is and why the sump on the truck man is that close to the kmember.

You could try the holley 302-2 pan . Also I love your bracket . It is very similar to one from ls brackets.com I'm going to use on my whipple build. The only thing I would do different is install the idler on the water pump bosses for better belt wrap on the water pump. I love ls fox bodies .that thing is going to move!

i am going to just trim the truck pan so it doesn't hang down so low. Should be a relatively simple task 0_o
