Lt4 mounted in 69 camaro

Yes I have it broke in. The motor has very good street manners but when given some foot all hell breaks loose! It's really exiting to drive and the screaming sound really turns heads around here.
I've been thinking about putting the oversized drive pully on it and getting a good tune for it.
In two weeks my dad and I will be going to the drag strip and will see what it can do. Should be interesting

Thanks Todd,
I had bought all the LS stuff to do an LSA/4l80e swap but the LT4 crate engine is intriguing.
But i'd have to have the DSE front subframe since those mounts are available, the stock subframe mounts aren't out yet, correct?

That's correct, the mounts for the DSE subframe have been released but the mounts shown in the photos I posted for the stock subframe have not.

Any updates I know I'm wishful thinking but since Summit has been complete idiots regarding my 302-3 pan order from a month+ ago that was supposed to ship on 4/4 and still hasn't, I'm at the point of just returning all the LS stuff and just wait for the LT stuff and order though a MUCH better company. No more walmart of the performance industry for me.

For a stock subframe, Holley has the mounts ready and oil pan available. You just purchase the LS swap frame stands and then get the LT engine mounts that are designed to work with the LS frame stands. They have taken into account the geometry differences between the LS and LT...

Andrew is partially correct. The engine mounting in this application is based around the use of the original GM clamshell mounts in the Hooker Blackheart LS and LT swap systems and requires specific engine-side brackets for each. We are working through the first production run of the LT swap headers now and the engine mounting brackets should become available in January. The Holley LT swap pan is available now and fits the application perfectly.
