first5.3swap

So... I just bought a chevy k1500 off of Craigslist a week or two ago. It was a project truck that someone has gave up on. It now has a 5.3 and a NV 4500 in it. Looks to be a 5.3 out of a 1999 chevy silverado. So I am needing some help. It has both harness in the truck right now. With that being said I am just trying to figure out something. The harness that was going into the cab has been cut.I have read hundreds of articles about you only need 4 wires... but I am trying to figure out how to get the starter to kick when I touch the starter Solenoid wire.. also get the fuel pump to kick on. I can hear the Ignition relay kicking when I pUT power to the pink wire in the c1 harness. I am need some help, I fill like I need to power some of the wires that were going into the cab. I guess I just need some guidance. Lol it can get Overwhelming. Anything is better then nothing!!!
