Don't know if these would have worked for you or not...

Cool build. I run a 5.3/T56 combo in my 72 A-body wagon. Always intrested in what everyone else does in their swaps.

Well that’s good to know, wish I would have known beforehand haha. Yeah your wagon looks like quite the machine 😎

The 307 should be the same as the 350. The blocks are identical on the outside. The left mount in the pic should be for both the 307 and 350, while the right mount in the pic should just have the two big block numbers under it.

Do you happen to know what the height differences are?

Between 350 and 307? No difference. They use the same mount, as I said above.

Sorry I phrased that wrong. Maybe the height difference in the ones posted above and the ones I had in before(picture).

Decided to go ahead and go with the clamshell style mounts that Holley makes now. Maybe I’ll have to throw on a set of headers too

These mounts are awesome, they have plenty of clearance everywhere around but I think I’m stuck with buying a set of headers still. Cut my shifter hole in the tunnel, all coming together and hoping to have it running again within the next month or so. As for headers, I’m still going to give Speed Engineering a shot on theirs, they seem to be pretty nice. Highly recommended the clamshell style mounts as it makes the swap so much easier.
Currently have the T56 on a transmission jack to keep stress off the mounts until I can build my crossmember.

Got a crossmember built up. Originally had it sectioned in thirds, but soon figured out that I didn’t have to cut it. Instead I just recessed it and patched it back up. This was the crossmember I bought for the th400 bolted to my small block. No fitnent pictures because the paint was still wet. Driveshaft next, and I’m going to give Speed Engineering a shot with their headers.

Crossmember bolted in now, fit perfect on first try. Headers next on the list.

Got my headers from Speed Engineering, and they are excellent quality. Passenger side bolted right up with no issues. Driver side will be a pain to fit, as always.

How low do they hang? I like that th400 to t56 mount. I wished I’d gone that route but I bought the holly swap kit.
219 plus shipping isn’t bad at all for the headers

I’d say they hang about maybe 2” at most under the oil pan and maybe an inch under the bottom of the frame. They’re actually really nice headers for the money, I’m really impressed. I dig the th400 mount too, super simple and clean looking.

I still have to work the old exhaust setup, so excuse the mess. Ha

Got my headers installed, I ended up welding a 3 bolt flange to the headers. Waiting on my 3”-2.5” reducer. These headers fit perfectly, at least 0.5”-0.75” clearance around everything on the driver side. Awesome set of headers.

Finished on the bottom for the most part. Stoked on how it turned out.

More build related than swap, but car is currently under body work. Primer next weekend and hopefully paint within the next month or two.
